For us, horse riding is much more than a hobby – it is our passion and an essential part of our life at the farm Ladinserhof. As a riding farm in South Tyrol, horses have been an integral part of our daily farm life for many years.

We are especially proud to regularly take part in the Oswald von Wolkenstein Ride, the largest equestrian event in South Tyrol. This traditional tournament combines equestrian sport, history and South Tyrolean customs, and impressively shows how deeply rooted riding culture is in our region.

We are happy to share this passion for horses with our guests. Anyone spending their farm holiday in Castelrotto can also experience the fascinating mountain landscape of the Alpe di Siusi holiday region on horseback.

Guided rides in the Schlern area

With our well-trained western horses – including Haflingers, Quarter Horses, Arabians and Appaloosas – we regularly offer guided rides through the Schlern area. The diverse natural surroundings of Castelrotto provide ideal conditions for relaxed and safe riding tours.

These guided trail rides lead through meadows, forests and along beautiful panoramic paths with views of the Dolomites. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider – together we will find the right ride for every level.

Riding lessons and experiencing horses

In addition to guided rides, we also offer riding lessons in our riding arena. Our experienced instructors support both beginners and advanced riders, helping them gain confidence and enjoyment in handling horses.

Riding lessons for children are especially popular, allowing younger guests to gain their first experience in the saddle in a fun and playful way.

Grooming sessions for all ages

Not everyone wants to get on a horse right away – and that is part of riding too. During our grooming sessions, children and adults can get to know the horses at their own pace, groom them and help with their preparation.

Helping out in the stable

Guests are also welcome to take part in daily farm life. Whether feeding, grooming or helping with small stable tasks, you can gain insight into life on a riding farm in South Tyrol.
